I’m Sara Ann (or SA), a non-binary, artist and magical creature who lives in an old farmhouse in a swamp in Astoria, Oregon. I have been studying magical traditions, intuiting personal symbols, and connecting with my guides since I was a punk teen. I’ve provided witchery services to my friends and family since then and began offering more formal, professional(?) services in 2014.
In my art education and teaching experience I’ve guided folks in meditation practices, art-making techniques, and the connections between visual art, performance art and magical principles. In my own art practice I explore meaning, influence, transformation, objects, and ingredients.
When I grow up I want to be an Astronaut/Temple Priestess/welder. I’ve been a sober dude since 2013. Astrology: Virgo sun, Sagittarius moon, Sagittarius rising. Fun fact: one time a seagull ate my sock on Van Damme State Beach in Mendocino County, California.
